Raise your hand if you’re someone who needs a little help in the kitchen. Don’t worry because we’ve got you covered, especially if you are not a huge fan of cooking desserts but still want to put a smile on everyone’s face at the end of the meal. Our solution for you: our 4 ingredient chocolate mousse recipe. It’s so easy that you’ll end up making it so often that’ll you’ll probably become as popular as Jamie Oliver.

This recipe makes 4 servings. And, here’s what you’ll need:

12 F&N cookies

500 ml whipping cream

250 g of premium dark chocolate, roughly chopped

1 tsp vanilla extract

Step 1: Bake 12 of your favourite F&N cookies, following the instructions on the packaging. Choose different flavours for a sophisticated dessert.

Step 2: Heat the cream in a medium saucepan on medium-high heat almost to a boiling point. Add in the chocolate and whisk until it is all melted and the mixture is smooth and well combined. Add the vanilla extract and mix a little more.

Step 3: Taste the mixture and make sure everything tastes like magic. If the chocolate you chose is too bitter, add a little icing sugar until you reach perfection.

Step 4: Pour into a large heatproof bowl and let cool in the fridge until very chilled.

Step 5: Whip your chocolate mixture with an electric hand mixer or a whisk for a couple of minutes, until stiff peaks form.

Step 6: Break your cookies into bite size and put at the bottom or your glasses or small bowls. Spoon your mixture on top and garnish with more cookies or fruits.

There you have it, the easiest and most decadent dessert you could ever prepare in no time. Be careful, this one will quickly become a favourite in your household.
