F&N recommends: Easy Easter cookies that kids will love

The Easter long weekend represents the ideal moment to spend some time with the family and celebrate. While the quiche and the traditional ham are back on this year’s menu, here’s a good idea to have fun with the kids who are definitely waiting for their Easter chocolate bunny.

Ingredients:

  • 12 pieces of your favourite Félix & Norton cookie dough

  • 180 ml (¾ cup) of unsalted butter, softened

  • 500 ml (2 cups) of icing sugar

  • 125 ml (½ cup) of milk (if needed)

  • Your choice of food colouring

 

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Bake for 7 to 10 minutes.

While the cookies are in the oven, add to a big bowl the softened butter and the icing sugar. Mix well until the frosting is smooth. Add milk, if needed, if the mix is too thick.

We suggest you keep a large quantity of white aside as it will serve as the base colour for your cookies. Let your imagination run free and have fun mixing in your favourite Easter colours!

As soon as your cookies reach room temperature, you are ready to decorate them! With a small cake decoration kit or a squeeze bottle with a small needle tip, let the artist in you take control. We swear: kids will have a lot of fun with this activity!
